We will pick up your redundant electronic and computer equipment FREE in the Portland Metro area (Oregon).
A charge of $5.00 is expected for monitors/screens as it's costly to extract the toxic components and we have to pay a company to do it effectively. TV's are accepted as the cost of $10.00 each.We are, however, willing to negotiate mutually beneficial arrangements (especially with organizations with a lot to recycle.............)

Equipment that is still usable is repaired/upgraded and re-sold. We sell some "stuff" on eBay which opens us to a huge market for spare parts and old equipment, and which actually enables us to stay in business. Otherwise systems are stripped and their parts are used, sold, donated or recycled appropriately. The plastic and metals - copper, aluminum and steel are recycled to local manufacturers. We have recently started selling to companies that reuse the components to create new products, both in USA and other countries.

It is a constant creative challenge to find outlets for "stuff!", but we work on the assumption that whatever it is, IS useful to someone somewhere and our job is to locate that "someone".

Some of the components in the systems are removed and reused to repair/upgrade other computers, which are then re-sold or donated to schools, churches and other non profit agencies (usually in other countries) that don't require "state of the art" systems. The metals - copper, aluminum, and steel, and plastic are recycled appropriately.
